Stamford Brewery Museum
1976-1980
At the end of the 1970's I temporarily left London
and broadcast engineering to be responsible for turning a complete and
attractive, but disused Victorian brewery into a tourist attraction. I was
repsonsible for the planning and development of this unique project, which won
a commendation from the English Tourist Board. When the museum opened in 1978
it was complete with a shop and a licensed bar. I can thus claim to be one of
the few people to have had his photograph in the Good Beer Guide
